A Family Legacy in Art
My passion for art was nurtured early on by my mother and sister, my first and most influential mentors. My sister’s talent with the brush inspired me to explore my own creativity, while my mother’s keen eye for detail and insistence on perfection taught me patience and precision. Together, they encouraged me to embrace imperfections and strive for growth.
While they shaped my artistic skills, my father gave me the wings to soar and the courage to dream big. His unwavering support and belief in me became my driving force, reminding me to aim high and never settle. Together, my family laid the foundation for my artistic journey, inspiring me to pursue my passion with heart and determination.
The Beginning
My artistic journey truly flourished during my Bachelor’s studies, where I discovered the mesmerizing world of Tanjavur painting. This traditional art form, with its vibrant hues and intricate detailing, captivated my heart and deepened my connection to the cultural roots of art. A year later, I began exploring the expressive power of oil painting, a medium that allowed me to pour my emotions onto the canvas. Art became my sanctuary—my solace during moments of stress and the creative outlet where I found peace and joy.

The turning point came during my Master’s degree in the United States, where the solitude of the COVID-19 era deepened my connection to art. Painting became my anchor, culminating in my largest project yet—a stunning peony painting. This ambitious work tested my limits and reinforced my commitment to pursuing art with passion and purpose.
A Leap of Faith
That peony painting marked a turning point in my life. With a newfound sense of confidence, I made the bold decision to resign from my job as a Data Scientist and return to India to pursue my true passion—art.
Back home, I began dedicating myself to my craft full-time. Each painting became a personal challenge: learning new techniques, experimenting with different mediums, and working within varying timeframes. The journey was far from easy, but it was deeply rewarding.
The Painting that Changed Everything
One of my most significant creations is the Satyanarayana Swamy painting, which is part of my "Indian Gods and Goddesses for Pooja Rooms" series. This artwork took more than six months to finish, as I invested time in perfecting my skills throughout the process. Completing it was a major milestone for me, providing a concrete validation that I had truly embarked on the right path in my artistic endeavors.
From Passion to Profession
People quickly started talking about my art, and before I knew it, commissions were rolling in. Each piece I make, whether it's in oil or Tanjavur style, is something I truly love. These traditional art forms take a lot of patience and care, and I’m all about giving each one the attention it deserves.
